Only a fraction of Ohio landowners have signed Nexus Pipeline easements

Just a fraction of the easements needed for the Nexus Pipeline have been signed in Ohio counties, Akron Beacon Journal reports. So far, 240 easements have been signed by Ohio landowners whose properties lie in the path of the pipeline.

The Coalition to Reroute Nexus (CORN) is telling landowners not to sign the easements.

The 250-mile Nexus Pipeline will transport natural gas from eastern Ohio, travel northwest to Michigan and onto Ontario, Canada. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) still has to approve the pipeline.
