Oil Well Worker Killed in Drilling Accident

According to the Carrollton Free Press Standard, one man was killed and another seriously injured in an accident on a gas and oil drilling rig in Carroll County. The incident happened Monday morning.

One victim was transported to Aultman Hospital by ambulance, where he was later pronounced dead. The other man was transported to Mercy Medical Center.

This is a developing story. Once we have more information, it will be posted.

Update: Media reports said the rig is owned by R.E. Gas Development.
