According to the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and the Zanesville Times-Recorder, a drilling-related slurry has been leaking from a pipeline construction site into a creek that connects with the Muskingum River.

The creek, Wakatomika Creek, near Fazeysburg, Ohio, is contaminated, but the material doesn’t appear to be toxic. No dead or dying fish were found in the creek.

The slurry came from a construction site for the Appalachia-to-Texas Express Pipeline.
