West Virginia Record reports that a bill banning the export of Marcellus shale gas has been considered by Congress.

Vets4Energy State Program Director Retired Capt. James McCormick says that if the gas is exported, more domestic jobs could be created and if drilling continues, more jobs could be created for pipelines.

McCormick says that the ban would limit the shale industry, according to the newspaper.
