The Shale Gas Reporter, part of the Farm and Dairy newspaper’s online family, was awarded first place in the 2013 Inland Press Newspaper Business Development Contest for online products and services.

The Shale Gas Reporter was launched in June of 2012 in response to the large number of Farm and Dairy readers directly affected by the oil/gas industry.

The Shale Gas Reporter was initially launched to serve the existing Farm and Dairy readership. The site now reaches a much wider audience with stories being aggregated across industry formats.

Since its inception, the Shale Gas Reporter has uploaded over 350 shale gas related stories to the web.

Farm and Dairy has been serving the agricultural, auction and marketplace communities throughout Ohio, Western PA and Northern WV for 100 years.
