Slide program features history of Idora Park

WARREN, Ohio – Youngstown State University English and American Studies professor Rich Shale will present his slide program on Idora Park at the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library, 444 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren May 9 at 6:30 p.m.

“Remembering Idora Park” will feature the history of the park, including the carousel, Wildcat roller coaster and the pavilion.

Shale’s program is based upon his book Idora Park: The Last Ride of Summer. The program is free and open to the public. Reservations are not required.
