TEAL pipeline project put into service in Ohio

The U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission gave Enbridge Inc, a Canadian Energy Company, approval to put part of its Texas Eastern Appalachian Lease (TEAL) natural gas pipeline into service in Ohio on Sept. 12, according to Reuters.
The 0.95-billion cubic feet per day (bcfd) TEAL project was designed to provide additional supplies for the $2.6 billion NEXUS gas pipeline from Ohio to Michigan. It is one of several gas pipelines designed to connect growing output in the Marcellus and Utica shale basins in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio with customers in other parts of the United States and Canada.
