A newly formed Texas company is looking to make investments in the Marcellus and Utica shale natural gas industry, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times.

Pathfinder Resources LLC, created by a private equity firm in Irving, Texas, is looking for natural gas investments between $5 million and $35 million in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio. The company is starting with mineral and royalty interests in the Marcellus and Utica shale.
