UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — A natural gas lease webinar will air Jan 21 at 1 p.m. by the Penn State Cooperative Extension.
The Web-based seminar titled Post Leasing — Considerations of What Happens Next, Lesson Learned to Date will answer questions for landowners regarding lease agreements with natural gas exploration companies.
The webinar will address trends like negotiations with landowners for siting the well pad, lease extensions, the addition of roads, pipelines and sound mitigation.
Additional online discussions are available in a series of workshops that run through March.
One-hour webinars are also available Feb. 18, Underground Injection Wells as an Option for Disposal of Shale Gas Wastewaters: Policies and Practicality, and March 18, The Impact of Marcellus Shale: What Do the Economic Impact Studies Imply?.
