Predict the future? That’s what Nick Grealy is trying to do with his latest article for the Christian Science Monitor. Grealy is the publisher of No Hot Air, a forum on energy issues and Shalegasinfo.eu.
Grealy successfully predicted the export of U.S. liquid natural gas, U.S. energy independence and Australian and Chinese shale gas.
His predictions for 2013 and beyond are as follows:
♦U.S. oil and gas prices will separate from world prices.
♦Shale could invigorate California’s struggling economy.
♦The U.K. will begin shale gas development in Europe.
♦North America will continue to pave the way for the rest of the world.
“Ultimately though, we’re predicting the unknowable. North America will continue to show the world the way on shale. Production and profitability will both follow technology. We’re only at the first baby steps of shale. An understanding of that is going to be key as Europe ultimately embraces shale. “
