Pittsburgh-based CONSOL Energy plans to up its stake in Ohio’s Utica Shale with a new joint venture that will bring new pipelines and processing plants to the Utica Shale region, according to Columbus Business First.
The company has an agreement with Blue Racer Midstream to build and operate pipelines and facilities in Noble County.
The pipelines will support existing wells owned by CONSOL and Hess Corp..
CONSOL currently has nine wells drilled in the Utica with three of those wells in Noble County.
