Fuel Fix reports that one company is showing support for breast cancer awareness month.

Baker Hughes has painted 1,000 of its drill heads pink in an effort to raise awareness on well sites. The company hopes that this change will help employees spread the word about the disease to their loved ones.

From Fuel Fix:

“Each steel bit — weighing 85 to 260 pounds — is painted by hand at the company’s drill bit manufacturing facility in The Woodlands and then shipped to the drill site in a pink-topped container containing information packets with breast health facts, including breast cancer risk factors and screening tips.”
