Chesapeake Energy Corp. is suing Aubrey McClendon on allegations that he stole confidential data and trade secrets when he left the company, according to Columbus Business First.
McClendon is CEO of American Energy Partners, the company he started in 2013. American Energy Partners says that under terms of agreement with Chesapeake, McClendon is entitled to the information he has.
Both Chesapeake and American Energy Partners are active in Ohio’s Utica Shale, as well as in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
