The U.S. Energy Information Administration reports that the Gulf Coast and East Coast work together to balance supply and consumption of transportation fuels, such as jet fuel, gasoline and diesel.
Studies of supply, consumption and distribution of the two regions were conducted, including two pipelines that move product between the regions.
