Construction is poised to begin on Energy Transfer Partners LP’s $4.2 billion Rover Pipeline, following approval from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, according to the Associated Press.
The pipeline will extend from West Virginia to Michigan, running 713 miles across northern Ohio and into southeastern Michigan where it will connect with the Vector Pipeline.
It will have the ability to carry 3.25 billion cubic feet of natural gas a day from the Marcellus and Utica shale areas in West Virginia, western Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio.
