The United States Federal Energy Regulatory Commission gave Energy Transfer Partners LP a list of tasks to complete before the Rover natural gas pipeline can start up, according to Reuters.
On May 10, the FERC was banned from new horizontal directional drilling under waterways and roads, following a spill of about two million gallons of drilling fluid into the Tuscarawas River wetlands in Ohio. Several energy analysts believe the ban could cause service delays.
Currently, ETP expects the first phase of Rover to enter service in late July with the second phase by Nov. 1.
