Following a blast that halted service on the Leach XPress natural gas pipeline, TransCanada Corp’s Columbia Gas Transmission unit restored operations and returned service late Thursday, according to Reuters.
Columbia gas repaired a section of the Leach XPress downstream of the pipe blast in West Virginia that occurred earlier this month. The effort enabled the Stagecoach-Leach Xpress meter in Monroe County on the Ohio-West Virginia border to return to service, according to a notice to customers.
The Stagecoach meter connects to EQT Midstream Partners LP’s Strike Force South gathering fields in Monroe and Belmont counties in Ohio.
