Williams is seeking permission from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to place the Atlantic Sunrise natural gas pipeline into service, according to Kallanish Energy.
Williams filed a similar request with the FERC, asking for approval to begin service on Sept. 10.
The $3 billion pipeline will provide 1.7 million dekatherms per day of natural gas from the Marcellus Shale in northern Pennsylvania to markets in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern U.S.
