Natural gas production reached a record high in Pennsylvania last year, despite the pandemic’s impact on drilling, according to Farm and Dairy.
Pennsylvania operators produced 7.1 trillion cubic feet of natural gas in 2020.
The data was released June 30 in the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection’s annual Oil and Gas Report.
