16 new shale drilling permits issued in Ohio, Pa., W. Va. during week ended Nov. 7

Permitting numbers rose slightly week-to-week in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, collectively, as 16 permits were issued during the week ended Nov. 7, according to Marcellus Drilling News.

Pennsylvania issued 12 new permits. Seven to EQT, three to Chesapeake Appalachia LLC, one to Olympus Energy LLC and one to Exco Resources PA LLC.

Ohio and West Virginia each issued two new shale drilling permits during the same time period.
