WhiteHawk Energy to acquire Marcellus Shale natural gas minerals and royalty assets for $52.5 million

WhiteHawk Energy recently announced an agreement to acquire natural gas minerals and royalty assets located in Southwestern Pennsylvania for $52 million, according to Yahoo.

The company’s minerals and royalty assets being acquired cover 475,000 gross unit acres in the Marcellus Shale. Most are being developed by several of the play’s top producers, including EQT, Range Resources and CNX Resources.

Additionally, the minerals and royalty assets are currently generating production and cash flow from over 950 horizontal Marcellus Shale wells.
