The latest Baker Hughes oil and natural gas rig count shows an increase for the fourth week and the second month in a row, according to Reuters.
The U.S. oil and gas rig count rose to 784 during the shortened week ended Nov. 23, reaching its highest level since March 2020 according to Baker Hughes data. The report was released two days early due to Thanksgiving.
The oil rig count increased by four rigs, totaling 627, to reach its highest level since 2020. The natural gas rig count dropped two rigs, totaling 155.
