The Business Journal reported that Caiman Energy, a company specializing in energy infrastructure, is investing $800 million to develop a natural gas and crude oil processing network in the Utica Shale region.

Read it:

Caiman’s partners include Williams Partners of Tulsa, Okla., EnCap Flatrock Midstream of San Antonio and Highstar Capital of New York. The area of focus will be the natural gas liquid- and oil-rich areas of the Utica Shale in Ohio and northwest Pennsylvania, the company said.

Unfortunately, the company hasn’t disclosed where the pipelines and plants will be built, yet.

There’s been quite a few announcements of pipelines recently. Not only will those in the Utica Shale region prosper from bonus and royalty checks, they’ll prosper from the employment at processing plants coming to the area.
