Wireline company Nine Energy Service teamed up with Eclipse Resources to drill a 124-stage lateral for a Guernsey County, Ohio, well.
PennEnergy reports that the well is one of the most complex that Nine Energy or Eclipse has completed to date. Nine Energy completed the plug and perf well system in 23.5 days.
The well’s longer lateral design allows Eclipse to develop acreage effectively as commodity prices remain low.
