Dominion Energy recently filed a request with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to expand the capacity of its existing pipeline from Pennsylvania to Ohio, according to Marcellus Drilling News.

The Sweden Valley Project is estimated to cost $48 million and would add 120 million cubic feet per day of natural gas capacity to existing flow along the pipeline. The additional gas will be used to generate electricity for the Midwest market.

Dominion says all 120 MMcf/d are already contracted and spoken for–by an unnamed customer.
