EXCO Resources has selected Edge LNG to capture and liquefy natural gas from a stranded Marcellus Shale well, according to World Oil.

Edge LNG will have its mobile LNG equipment delivered by truck to the Marcellus site. The company will then produce the LNG and purchase it from EXCO Resources.

Next, the LNG will be sold and delivered to customers in the northeast region via Edge’s truck-based virtual pipeline, where it will be used to provide natural gas to homes and businesses.

Initial operations are underway and expected to continue through 2022.
