According to The Business Journal, an ethane cracker plant is more than likely going to be built in Beaver County, Pennsylvania.

The proposed project would be built near Monaca, Pennsylvania. As many as 400 people could be hired, along with nearly 10,000 construction workers.

An ethane cracker plant processes and breaks up oil and gas into smaller molecules and also creates ethylene, which is used to make plastic. Other ethane cracker plants have been planned in Ohio, West Virginia and near Pittsburgh.

From The Business Journal:

“The Beaver County plant, which would be constructed on the former Horsehead Corp. site, would employ 400 people and could employ as many as 10,000 construction workers.”
