FERC allows Rover to resume drilling at four locations

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission granted the Rover Pipeline permission to resume horizontal drilling at four locations, according to Marcellus Drilling News.
The FERC shut down drilling after the Rover had some early missteps, including a spill in April of 2 million gallons of non-toxic drilling mud in a swamp near the Tuscarawas River. Since then, the FERC has gradually allowed the Rover Pipeline to resume work.
With the latest round of four more locations gaining approval for work, including the Ohio River in the Majorsville area, only two locations remain shut down. One of the two is the Tuscarawas River spill site.
