Equitrans Midstream recently announced its $5.4 billion Mountain Valley natural gas pipeline will be completed early next year, according to Hydrocarbons Technology.
The Mountain Valley pipeline system stretches across 303 miles from West Virginia to southern Virginia. It will be able to deliver 2 billion cubic feet per day from the Marcellus and Utica shale formations in Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia to Mid-Atlantic and south-east markets.
The Mountain Valley had previously been delayed due to regulatory and legal hurdles with environmental and local groups.
