PIOGA Announces New Director of Natural Gas Development

WEXFORD, PA – The Pennsylvania Independent Oil & Gas Association [PIOGA] announced the hiring of Joyce Turkaly to the newly created position of Director of Natural Gas Market Development.

PIGOA is a nonprofit trade association representing Pennsylvania’s independent oil and natural gas producers, marketers, service companies and related businesses.

“PIOGA has begun to focus on innovative ways of taking advantage of Pennsylvania’s vast resources of clean-burning, cost-competitive natural gas,” said PIOGA President and Executive Director Louis D’Amico. “We recognized that we needed a dedicated staff person for this effort, and we are pleased that Joyce has joined our team. Her industry contacts, enthusiasm and thorough knowledge of natural gas markets will serve her well in this position.”

Turkaly previously worked for Hess Corporation. Prior to that, she worked in industrial sales, marketing, contract management and natural gas procurement for First Energy Corporation, Atlas Gas Marketing and The Peoples Natural Gas Company.
