A new report from the Pennsylvania Independent Fiscal Office has reported a 6.8% increase in quarterly natural gas production, according to Kallanish Energy.
The report stated production increased to 1,766 billion cubic feet in the first quarter of 2020, compared to 1,654 billion cubic feet during the same period in 2019.
The 6.8% growth rate is Pennsylvania’s lowest since 2017, according to the report. Additionally, year-over-year growth rates have slowed from 17.8% in Q4 2018 to the most recently recorded 6.8% growth rate.
