Congressman Bill Johnson recently visited Shell’s $6 billion cracker plant in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, according to 33 WYTV.
Following his tour last week, the congressman said he said the plant will have a huge impact on local energy needs. Additionally, he believes about 6,000 people could be working on the Monaca construction site by the end of the year.
Although the plant sits outside his district, Johnson believes the next one could be built in Belmont County, Ohio and could be much larger.
