President Donal Trump spoke at the Shale Insight Conference in Pittsburgh on Wednesday, applauding his administration’s support for domestic energy production, according to The Beaver County Times.
During his speech, Trump credited himself for the thriving fossil fuels industry and historically low unemployment in the region. He said his administration has restored energy dominance in the United State by rolling back climate policies and greenhouse gas emission standards.
“I promised that, as president, I’d unleash American energy like never before, because our natural resources do not belong to the government. They belong to the people of this country. And I am proud to declare that I have delivered on every single promise I made,” Trump said.
