According to the Oil & Gas Journal, MarkWest Utica EMG LLC has fired up a refrigeration plant in Harrison, County, Ohio, which is supported by two Utica shale wells owned and operated by Gulfport Energy Corp.
Gulfport recently reported strong flow from its new well in Belmont County.
MarkWest is also building a cryogenic processing plant in Cadiz, Ohio. The construction is expected to be completed in early 2013. Another cryogenic plant in Cadiz, Ohio, should be operational by the third quarter of 2013.
The company is also planning on constructing up to 140 miles of pipeline.
