Kinder Morgan’s proposed Utica Marcellus Texas Pipeline will transport natural gas liquids from the Utica and Marcellus regions to locations along the Gulf Coast of Texas, The Business Journal reports. The company will begin to solicit customers for the pipeline in mid-September.

The pipeline will transport propane, butanes, natural gas, y-grade and condensate.

According to the newspaper, Kinder Morgan will have to convert more than 900 miles of the Tennessee Gas Pipeline System to support NGLs. Other pipeline work must be completed in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, West Virginia, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

If approved by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, compressor stations would have to be built in the Ohio counties of Jackson, Morgan and Tuscarawas.
