Harrison County farmer concerned about Utopia East Pipeline

Kinder Morgan’s Utopia East Pipeline will affect about 950 landowners, including a Harrison County farmer.
Martins Ferry Times Leader reports that Mick Luber, an organic farmer near Cadiz, fears that the 12-inch diameter pipeline undo the work he’s done for decades to grow his crops. Luber has attempted to fight Kinder Morgan on running the pipeline through his land, but has so far been unsuccessful, according to the source.
The $500 million pipeline will transport ethane and ethane-propane mixtures from Harrison County, Ohio, northwest to Fulton County, Ohio. Existing pipeline infrastructure there will carry the gas northward to Michigan and into Ontario.
