11 drilling permits issued in Pennsylvania during week ended Aug. 8

Eleven new drilling permits were issued in Pennsylvania during the week ended Aug. 8, according to Marcellus Drilling News.

Seneca Resources received eight permits to drill in Elk County with seven of the eight on the same well pad. The remaining three permits were issued to EQT in three different counties.

Ohio issued three new drilling permits during this time period.

There were no new drilling permits issued in West Virginia during the week ended Aug. 8.
