13 shale permits issued in Ohio, Pa., W. Va. during week ended Nov. 28

Collectively, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia issued 13 shale drilling permits during the week ended Nov. 28, according to Marcellus Drilling News.

Ohio issued 11 new permits. Gulfport Appalachia and Ascent Resources each received five and EOG Resources Inc received one.

Pennsylvania issued only two new permits to XTO Energy. West Virginia issued no new permits.
