21 shale drilling permits issued in Ohio, Pa., W. Va. for week ended June 18

Twenty-one new permits were issued to drill shale wells in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia from June 12 to 18, according to Marcellus Drilling News.

Pennsylvania issued twelve new drilling permits during the time period. Snyder Brothers received nine of those permits to drill in Armstrong County.

Ohio issued six new drilling permits during the time period. INR received four of those permits to drill in Carroll County.

West Virginia issued three new drilling permits from June 12 to 18.

A week prior, from June 5 to 11, 20 new permits were issued to drill shale wells in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
