25 shale drilling permits issued in Ohio, Pa., W. Va. for week ended June 4

Twenty-five new permits were issued to drill shale wells in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia from May 29 to June 4, according to Marcellus Drilling News.
Pennsylvania issued 13 new drilling permits during the time period. EQT received seven of those permits to drill in Greene County.
West Virginia and Ohio both issued six new drilling permits from May 29 to June 4. Antero Resources received six permits to drill in Ritchie County, West Virginia.
A week prior, from May 22 to 28, eight new permits were issued to drill shale wells in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
