30 shale drilling permits issued in Ohio, Pa., W. Va. during week ended Sept. 11

Thirty new permits were issued to drill shale wells in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia during the week ended Sept. 11, according to Marcellus Drilling News.

Pennsylvania issued 21 new permits from Sept. 5-11. West Virginia issued six new drilling permits and Ohio only issued three new permits.
