8 shale drilling permits issued in Ohio, Pa., W. Va. for week ended May 28

Eight new permits were issued to drill shale wells in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia from May 22 to 28, according to Marcellus Drilling News.
Pennsylvania issued six new drilling permits, West Virginia issued two new permits and Ohio didn’t issue any new permits during the time period.
A week prior, from May 15 to 21, 12 new permits were issued to drill shale wells in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
