American Petroleum Partners LLC enters Utica and Marcellus shale

According to Observer-Reporter, American Petroleum Partners LLC is the newest oil and gas company to join the Utica and Marcellus shale plays.
The Southpointe-based firm was started in 2014. APP entered a partnership with Apollo Global Management LLC, which provided funds to fuel exploration of the Appalachian basin, with emphasis on creating value with partners and landowners.
The source reports that APP has leases and operations in Washington, Greene and Allegheny counties in Pennsylvania; Belmont, Jefferson and Monroe counties in Ohio; and Brooke, Marion, Marshall, Monongalia, Ohio and Wetzel counties in West Virginia.
