Another well pad fire at Hilcorp site

Mercer County, Pennsylvania has experienced another well pad fire, as reported by The Sharon Herald.

On Sept. 6, a separator at a well pad operated by Hilcorp Energy Co. caught fire. A separator, which divides oil, gas and water, caught fire at the Shenango Township site. On Aug. 15, there was a Mercer County well pad fire, as well as an explosion.

As a precaution, nearby residents were evacuated in case the fire caused an explosion. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
