Appeal filed against gas compressor station

In August, a gas compressor station was approved for New Sewickley Township in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, but now the owners of an organic farm directly affected by the station are appealing it, according to Pittsburgh Post-Gazette PowerSource.
Don and Rebecca Kretschmann, the farm owners, question the township’s zoning ordinances and oil and gas ordinances. The couple fear that the compressor station will cause detrimental effects to the environment in the township and especially on their farmland.
