Artex Energy will auction acreage in Utica shale

The independent Ohio-based producer will auction 14,884 acres in the Utica shale on  March 31, according to Kallanish Energy.

Artex Energy group plans to sell off property in Noble, Guernsey, Washington, Tuscarawas and Stark counties. The sale will include its Antero Resources joint venture made up of 2,027 acres in Noble and Washington counties. According to the company, 87 percent of the property is being used for production.

The sale will be made through Meager Energy Advisors.
