According to Dan O’Brien at the Business Journal, Aubrey McClendon, the controversial CEO of Chesapeake Energy Corp., made a visit to Kent State University’s Stark campus.
During his visit he addressed 300 of the company’s Utica shale employees.
Here’s what O’Brien said:
The meeting was simply an opportunity for the CEO to meet with some of his workers in eastern Ohio, Kenworthy said, and that includes those employed in Chesapeake’s midstream subsidiaries.
Chesapeake remains the most active oil and gas company in the region.
