The Chester County commissioner recently announced they are seeking to join a lawsuit against Sunoco’s Mariner East pipeline and the intent to end an agreement to grant the company access to county land, according to The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Earlier this year, the Chester County commissioners notified the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission about growing concern over a lack of communication and repeated failed attempts by the county to get information related to the Mariner East sinkhole.
The Mariner East is being constructed to transport natural gas liquids from the Marcellus and Utica shales.
