Oil and natural gas production in Columbiana County, Ohio, topped production in Mahoning and Trumbull counties again in 2015.
Columbiana County wells produced 214,412 barrels of oil and 37 billion cubic feet of natural gas in 2015, The Vindicator reports.
Mahoning County wells produced 22,378 barrels of oil and 4 billion cubic feet of natural gas last year. Trumbull County wells produced 10,871 barrels of oil and 628 million cubic feet of natural gas in 2015, according to the source. There weren’t any new wells drilled in Mahoning and Trumbull counties last year.
