According to The Business Journal, NiSource Inc. and Hillcorp Energy announced the creation of a new natural-gas liquids processing plant in northeastern Ohio.
It’s another wave a good news for Ohio residents, who are already seeing large checks from the natural gas boom.
The new processing plant will be a joint venture to utilize natural-gas liquids being harvested from the Utica and Marcellus Shale.

“The joint venture creates a new entity, Pennant Midstream LLC, that will construct 50 miles of 20-inch gathering pipeline across northeastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania. The partnership will also construct and install a cryogenic processing plant in Ohio capable of handling 200 million cubic feet of natural gas per day.”
